Being a songwriter/artist, actively writing for other artists (far east movement, yellow claw, pia mia g eazy, etc) its been hard to make time to work on MY shit. Everywhere I go, all the writing sessions I do, everyone always asks me the same thing, "are you an artist?" In my head I'm offended and annoyed like mf, YES I'm an artist. But I didnt realize my actions werent showing it, I wasnt putting out any music. Dj Features here n there but thats it, nothing that was just mine. Even my friends questioned me. That set me off. A j and half a bottle of wine later, i started this beat idea and and I pretty much freestyle wrote this song <3
