Lewis Fitzgerald is a twenty-one year old rising star. The UK singer/songwriter is joined here by WEWANTWRAITHS and the video has the two of them cruising through the streets of London as they delivery a track we can all relate to. Life is indeed a 'Short Ride,' and sadly can be even far shorter than we plan, so this is a song to help remind us to live each day to our fullest. Fitzgerald weighs in on the track saying ... 'This song represents some of my childhood and things I went through, I had suicidal thoughts and attempts when I was younger and it's kind of like my way of releasing that pain now through this sound, remembering how it was and how I thought at the time, it's like me saying it to myself.' Despite the heavy inspiration of the track, the single never feels overwrought, and it can simply be enjoyed as a smooth groove and entertaining song to brighten your world.
