Jacqui Siu hits us with a wave of melodic beats and swaying rhythms in her song “shoulda gone home.” A good R&B song makes you want to move in a way different than any upbeat tune. You feel intune with the music and let slow things down to enjoy every moment. “Shoulda gone home” is one of those songs. With its downtempo and seducing cadence, you really feel what Siu is trying to describe to us, a conflicted lover. Definitely worth a listen especially on those lonely nights thinking about those lovers you probably should not be thinking about.
