Sam Olyott hooks the listener with an emotive and vulnerable delivery that sets the tone from the very first line. 'On Your Own' is fueled by heartache and anger but this isn't the kind of petty revenge track that dominates Commercial music. This is a well though out moment of ... yeah go and try to do better out there because I gave all of myself and that wasn't good enough for a taker like yourself. The writing feels real and genuine and you can feel it all the way through.
