British-born songwriter, producer & artist, Shae Jacobs returns with an infectious, new Pop-R&B-tinged track “Not Supposed To”, the fourth single installment from his forthcoming EP (TBA).
With a soaring voice that combines technical chops with passion and versatility, Shae shines on his latest, upbeat record. The artist opens up about his disloyal girlfriend and his mixed emotions after discovering she’s betrayed his love. Shae croons about not being able to move on - doing everything he can to get her off his mind - but still being torn in two between wanting to be with her but knowing he’s “not supposed to”.
With his previous releases, Shae established himself as a multitalented artist known for exploring relationships, heartbreak, and healing with soulfulness beyond his years. In 2018, Shae unveiled three, independently released singles including "Fxck Me Up,” “Space,” and“Jealous”, which have earned placements on Spotify’s US NMF and the Top of Breaking Pop playlists, along with Apple’s Best of Week.
Now signed to Prescription Songs in LA, he has worked with some on the biggest names in music, including Snoop Dogg, Jason Derulo, Sean Paul, Sigrid, Plan B, Shift K3Y, and Charlotte Lawrence. Shae also previously featured on the Juno award-winning single ‘Off The Ground’ alongside BitFunk.
