Ollie Joseph never believed his music could actually go somewhere, until meeting his manager in a coffee shop. Ollie rapped for him in the middle of the cafe and the rest is history. Ollie spent most of his early childhood growing up in Japan before moving to California and eventually to Michigan. His first song, "How It's Going Down" was produced by one of the top young producers, Siren. Ollie Joseph's latest song, "Whatever Happens" is also produced by Siren and features the beautiful vocals of singer/songwriter, Alexa Lusader. As Ollie says, " I worked very hard to construct a story of wanting to take this seriously, but not letting my parents down, and trying to put that all into a song." The cover art is uncolored because "I’m just starting out professionally with music, so its a sketch and I’m not even closed to being colored in". Stay tuned. Ollie Joseph is ready to take over the hip-hop world.

Talk about a blast from the past. Back when blogs were the go-to music discovery platform, Chiddy Bang – made up of rapper Chiddy and producer Xaphoon Jones – were about as an iconic up-and-coming (frat)rap duo as one could imagine.
Classics like “Opposite of Adults” sampling MGMT’s “Kids” and “Truth” taking on Passion Pit were everyone’s favorites circa 2010.
Things seemed to be heating up for them come 2012, when they released their album Breakfast , but shortly after they disappeared when they broke up in 2013.
Xaphoon Jones continued his production career as Noah Breakfast, working on a number of major records, but it’s been a minute since we’ve heard from Chiddy.
Fast forward to 2017, more than half a decade after they made their first big splash, rapper Chiddy returns to the game with his comeback single, “Full Speed Ahead.” Production on this one is handled by Paul Couture.
Fresh off the announcement of the NEW project "Water to Wine", Tone brings "Gold Bars". Like the entire W2W project, "Gold Bars" is produced by Elemnt. "Water to Wine" drops MARCH 2017
Just when the days of Jay Z and Drake trading sneak-disses seemed behind us, Hov may have just called out the Canadian rhymer on “Shining,” the latest musical offering from DJ Khaled.
After the surprise record dropped Sunday night (February 13), internet sleuths were quick to locate and fastidiously decipher what some see as a diss toward Drizzy.

On “Shining,” which also features Beyoncé, Jay Z raps: “I know you ain’t out here talkin’ numbers, right / I know you ain’t out here talkin’ summers, right / I know you ain’t walkin’ ’round talkin’ down / Sayin’ boss shit when you a runner, right?”
The jab from Jay — who’s known for his many summertime hits — could serve as a response to Drake’s verse on the 21 Savage-assisted “Sneakin.'”
With Drake’s More Life playlist project promised before the end of February, and Jay Z seemingly working on a new project behind the scenes, fans probably won’t have to wait long for the next volley in this war of words.
“Dear S3LF,
I will not obey
I will not conform
I will not settle
I will not stopbeing who I am.”
I want people to know there's someone in Houston making some noise. Respecting traditions yet innovating in the space.

Mostly known for the hard hitting beats he has crafted for himself, “Treat Yourself” finds DaiN utilizing his unique style to produce for some of the best talents in current Hip-Hop & R&B. The EP features collaborations with Black Spade, LA’s Modern Funk queen Moniquea, Seattle’s Malice & Mario Sweet, Rozzi Daime, and up and coming Portland songstress Blossom.
Drawing inspiration from great producers like J Dilla, DJ Quik, and Kev Brown, DaiN brings a unique swing and style to the table with his signature drums, bass lines, and keys. And, much like DJ Jazzy Jeff’s seminal “The Magnificent”, DaiN’s “Treat Yourself” perfectly melds cutting edge Hip-Hop production with top tier singing and emceeing.
Instantly recognizable with a sound all its own, DaiN’s “Treat Yourself” EP is the release for those who love expertly produced, beat driven R&B and Hip-Hop.
Silicon Alley is a song inspired by growing up in the underside of Silicon Valley. It was written and recorded shortly after coming back from the Van's Warped Tour (2 months, 41 cities) and from the feeling of being home. The song was released independently this past weekend.
