Lance Markeith - Crop

Rating: 3 out of 5

Rap feels like its entering a new era. Trap doesn’t hit as hard, and fun is coming back to the genre. Lance drops clever bars, bouncy flows over a skipping beat that has groove and fresh pockets. Rap is crying for a new sound and ‘Crop’ is a step in the right direction.

Wakai - '05 Honda [Review]

Rating 3 out of 5

Taken from his new album ‘Some people scream, some people talk’ 05 Honda is a serious head bopper. The groove in this record is infections just as is Wakai’s laid back flow. The chorus is catchy and potent and has us feeling like we’re riding shotgun as Wakai shows us his world.

Chevy Quis - Big Ben [Review]

Rating: 3 out of 5

Chevy just made one to send the clubs up all 2023. This record is effortless but still witty.

A1 Beanz x Benny The Butcher - Mailman [Review]

Rating 4 out of 5

‘We got hand grenades that look like Don Julio bottles’ I MEAN! This record is hearing a lion snarling with a ruby incrusted crown on. Its mean but sounds so royal and expensive. A1 & Benny trade quotable lines whilst painting a vivid picture of their lives. This is one of those, leave on loop and drive 2 hours type moods.

YTobechi - R.D.P [Review]

Review 4 out of 5

You ever jump in the car and get lost in the drive itself and before you know it you zoned all the way out and drove to Utah from Brooklyn? Well that’s what this feels like. R.D.P is hypnotic, raw and just good in the type of way you can’t quite explain.
