Teddy Benson first began his trek into music when he was in high school after getting hooked after his first cypher. From then on, he knew he wanted to be in music. After some trials in his life, he ended up in Brockton, Massachusetts. It was in Brockton where his lyrical content really began to flourish, and by the time he was 16 he began working with his first mentor. His time on the East Coast exposed him to true hip-hop, and life in general. Teddy has performed in countless venues around San Diego, and in January 2016 he signed with indie hip-hop recording company Ackrite.

"Dreaming of Ferraris" can be streamed on your favorite music streaming services like Soundcloud, iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, Google Play, and more.
Originally, the 1st verse was supposed to be the 2nd verse. And the 2nd verse was supposed to be the 1st verse. However, I switched them around to how it is now because the song opens up wayyyyy better like this.
But according to how it was originally made, the song was about my progression as an artist. This music stuff and rapping never came natural to me. I was actually terrible (ask anyone) and I was out here like "Yeah, these tracks are gunna have me riding in Ferraris and shit!" Obviously, back then I thought I was good, but now I realize that was not the case. So, yes, the climb to get to the skill level I'm at now was VERY REAL.
Emerging onto the scene from Boston, MA, artist/producer Clark Sage began his career as a result of a 9th grade science project. Now, at 22, he creates music that derives from experiences and moments of his life. Any set of circumstances may inspire different feelings in his music such as chill or jumpy or moving. The final product, however, is music that's original and memorable. His albums, "For Something Greater" & "The Modest Anomaly," are prime examples, ultimately leading his track "On The Road" to be featured on Pitchfork. For him, all steps are intended. Everything is envisioned. The future of Clark Sage is already written.

Hailing from the Sacramento area, California, $cotti Bishop is a rising hip-hop artist with an eclectic approach to his blend of music. With influences ranging from the likes of Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar, to Bob Dylan and Al Green, it's hard to put any aspect of $cotti's music in a box. One thing that can be said, however, is that spontaneity is a big part of $cotti Bishop's songwriting and brand. This is demonstrated in his new song "And 1 Freestyle," a two minute track where $cotti takes a break from his usual structure and delivers nothing but bars, wordplay, and solid rapping all the way through.

Chevy is a modern-day Grease inspired music video directed by the very talented AJ Mester and produced by Lawrence Casseus & myself.
It portrays the inevitable battle of the antagonist versus the protagonist. Chevy also includes a special guest performance by Goldensuns.
Abra comes alive in a new self-directed video for “Pull Up.” In the video, filmed in New York’s Bushwick and Harlem neighborhoods, the enchanting Awful Records pop-R&B singer lets go for a risky night of adventure.

Fresh off dropping the highly anticipated DC4 tape last week, Meek Mill keeps the content coming by releasing the video for “Shine” off the album today (Oct. 31). Directed by Will Ngo and shot in black-and-white, the nearly 7-minute clip shows Meek chillin’ in a mansion, boarding a PJ and breaking bread with the Philly friends he starved. There’s no questioning the message of the track is about enjoying the spoils of success after years of hard work. The visual ends in color with a snippet of “Blessed Up” for the outro.

Los Angeles rap-veteran Daddy Grace delivers a powerful and moving statement with his new video for “Call Me,” which captures his life as a Black man living in a country where he’s been historically, and sadly referred to by so many different names.
“Call me savage, heathen, three-fourths of a human-being/ Give me 40 acres and a mule, and we call it even,” the rapper, also known as Born Allah spits over the soulful production of BLDNGBLCK. And he does so while looking directly at the camera lens of Wackoe, who also directed the pimptastic visuals for, “Black Cream.”
This perspective allows the viewer, to feel connected to Daddy Grace’s message and emotions, in addition to the footage displayed throughout. This allows the focus to shift between the rapper and his talented guest, K.I.T.S. Crakin, as well as clips of Malcolm X speeches, Black Lives Matter protests, and racist cartoons.
It may be difficult at times, but the “Call Me” video is unfortunately a necessity given our country’s history, and current divided state of affairs.
Check out the visuals for “Call Me,” and go grab Daddy Grace’s No Hip Hop For Grown Men LP, which is now available via iTunes and all major digital retailers and streaming services, via Church of Hip Hop & Financial Prosperity.

(Los Angeles, CA) Massachusetts-based hip-hop artist, Kyle Bent announces the premiere of his new music video, “Deserve” via Mass Appeal. In Bent’s newest release, he collaborates with Joyner Lucas in a music video reflecting the universal experience of working towards a goal. The video, directed by Matt Arnold, is an ambient, highly imaginative depiction of the long nights spent to achieve one’s dreams. It expresses the woes of hard work and the long earned pay off. Joyner and Bent’s combined energy expresses a universal struggle -- the process from nothing to something. The message is a personal one that any listener can relate to. The video comes in preparation for his upcoming album, Complex Simplicity set to drop this Fall.
Bent began creating music around the age of nine, after a friend introduced him to the art of freestyling. When he was thirteen he was given an opportunity to record in a real studio courtesy of executive engineer Tarik McFarland. McFarland then became the official engineer for Bent during his entire high school career, as his music career began to take shape. He dropped his first mixtape at the age of fourteen, another one before he turned fifteen, and a third at the age of sixteen. To date, Bent has released a total of six projects with a seventh on the way. In between each of one of these projects, he’s released multiple music videos that have between 30,000 to 500,000 views respectively. He’s proven to be “one of the more popular and harder working indie artists in the game,” according to Hip-Hop Vibe.
In addition to going on tour with Joyner Lucas, Bent will be performing alongside one of hip-hop's legends, Nelly in Denver, CO.on October 27th and Salt Lake City, UT. on October 29th. Now that Kyle Bent has captivated audiences with his “upbeat style and positive vibes” (HipHop87), we can expect a lot more from the rising rap artist! Stay tuned as he releases more music in preparation for the release of Complex Simplicity this Fall.
