GV is a next-generation hip-hop artist with Brooklyn blood and the mind of a revolutionary. With a name like “GV”, meaning, “God’s Voice”, this man is on a mission to make a profound statement with his music. His most recent singles, “Exhale” and “Another Hit” seemed to come out of nowhere as a one-two punch, knocking people off their feet and putting GV on top. With a new eager fan base awaiting his next move, his brand new single, “Tunnelz”, along with its compelling, fully realized music video, is sure to be the song that breaks him through as the voice of change in Hip Hop.
Like many artists, GV was easily distracted in school, preferring activities like drawing and writing. In fact, this is where he began writing poetry at a young age. After junior high school, he moved down South with his family, first to the suburbs of New Jersey, and then to the city of Tampa, Florida. Tampa proved to be integral to the mental and artistic growth of this gritty, no-holds-barred artist. He tried out college life down there, which was essential for him to learn exactly what he did NOT want to do with his life. His parents were completely unaware of his talents until he independently released the “Power of Now” music video, waking them up to the fact that their son had been mastering the trade of hip-hop right under their noses.
Fast forward to 2017 - GV’s heartfelt new single, “Tunnelz” is his most personal effort to date. Written in the style of a confessional, this artist seamlessly weaves social issues and the day-to-day life of a starving artist into the fabric of the song. The instrumentals behind him showcase an old-school beat. A tight drum kit, surrounded by fluttering keys and a fat bass, is engulfed by the crackle of an old vinyl record, providing a profound nostalgia for the listener. The old school vibe juxtaposed with GV’s signature futuristic delivery makes for a truly memorable sonic landscape. Video production company, A1 Vision has become the visual keystone of "all things GV." This dream team have created a cinematic masterpiece to accompany “Tunnelz” with a visual that speaks directly to the zeitgeist gripping urban centers across the country. GV goes hard, spits a solid flow, his message is clear.... and he's impossible not to root for.
Work In Progress is a genre blending soulful song about our shortcomings as humans that we face day to day. The video tells an incredible story.
RSXGLD (aka the duo of Ro Spit and 14KT) stunt on their contemporaries in the fresh new video for their funky banger, “ICU.” It’s the latest we’re hearing from their highly anticipated joint album, which is now available!
First of all, hats off to 14KT for flipping a classic funk ballad into a underground Hip-Hop banger, because his instrumental absolutely knocks. It’s also a fitting backdrop for Ro to talk his sh*t, a characteristic he’s definitely become well-known for over the years. What’s interesting, though, is that “ICU” is actually one of the more bravado-focused tracks on RSXGLD, which you’re welcome to make that determination on your own by giving the full album a spin.
And similar to their previously released visuals for “I Believe,” “ICU” was also directed by the talented Perry Grone. That means you can expect crisp, remarkably edited visuals that emphasize the energy of the song itself. Ro and KT capture the raw energy of “ICU” as well, particularly when showing off their moves for the camera.
Check out the visuals, and head over to the digital retailer of your choice to stream or download, RSXGLD. The 12 track LP boasts features from Royce da 5’9”, Denaun Porter, Elzhi, JMSN, Ronnie McNeir and more, and is also available on both CD and vinyl , via Fat Beats Records.

British pop duo Misunderstood have revealed the video for their debut single ‘Ghetto Style’. The track was written by Misunderstood and Maegan Cottone (Little Mix, Britney Spears, Olly Murs).
The duo also recently announced a headline show at the infamous Curtain Club in Shoreditch, London on November 28, in association with Live Nation.Misunderstood are South East Londoners Stephan Benson and Jeff Okyere. They met while they were both at school, bonding over their love for music, choreography and their complicated childhoods. Although ‘Ghetto Style’ is their first proper release, the duo are no strangers to the limelight.
Having nabbed the Will.i.Am seal of approval and partied with Beyonce in West Hollywood, Misunderstood have also attracted an impressive following on their social channels, simply through touring and organically growing a fanbase.
Alongside recording songs like ‘Sucker’ and ‘Imma Do My Thang’ for their social networks, Misunderstood started producing and directing their own music videos – filming themselves as they travelled. Their fan base grew – and their dedication to their own marketing paid off as they accumulated huge numbers of fans on Facebook and even convinced promoters to let them support big acts like Chipmunk, Stooshe, DJ Fresh and even Boys II Men on their UK tours.
The boys say: “We feel most at home when we’re on stage. Playing live drives home exactly why we do what we do - the energy of performing to a crowd and showing what we’re all about is the most exciting thing in the world. We’re thrilled to be bringing our live show to The Curtain Club, and just in time for party season - let’s get it ON!”
“Our message is simple,” says Stephan. It’s about being free to be yourself. It’s about being happy in you. It’s about having fun. It’s storytelling about the people who aren’t being shouted about. You’ll see and hear that in everything; the music, our style and in our videos. Our personalities and beliefs are poured into our music.”

KaneGang is a group of college friends who turned an idea for a rap group into a positive movement. We decided that we could show that there are better ways to success than the streets and your dreams are attainable. We came up with the idea for a company then began by molding the different branches such as music, clothes, and acting. We make music for everybody but most importantly we feel that we make certified hits that could get major radio play.

"This singer-songwriter-producer was born and bred in New York but his music seems better-suited to the City of Angels. He creates a certain brand of soul that makes for a great soundtrack to summer days—or the day after the night before." Mass Appeal
"'100 wrongs' is the first song from my self-produced EP, detourism. It's the story of a young man striking out on his own, searching for his purpose and learning to be his own best friend. Coming to terms with regrets and missteps and ultimately finding redemption in music. Bradley Murray’s visual conveys the wandering nostalgia of the song and really depicts the lonely promise of Los Angeles just as i found it, coming here from NYC without a plan two winters ago." Cheetah Bay
