From Da Blok’ gives us an unapologetically evocative hip-hop track. The track’s music video literally takes us backstage into the studio of King Hoffa and Styles P, giving us a sense of honest energy, almost as if we were just sitting back, hanging out with our mates and making some fresh dope music.
In a recent interview with Sharef McDowell (King Hoffa), he stated that the story behind his latest track to be about his battle with inherited poverty and societal hardship.
“From Da Blok is about taking your family out of a financial situation and putting them in a better one before you change your own”.
As the foundation of his music, particularly in his new track, King Hoffa entwines a definitive sense of ‘brotherhood’, incorporating his love for his closest friends and his family within his passion for music and song-writing.
